Here’s an interesting read – Bill Gates’ 1999 Predictions

blog

I found this story while browsing my Twitter feed. The story was tweeted by @Wired. This story posted on Inc.com. This article talks about the crazily accurate predictions made by Bill Gates in 1999 about the future of technology in his then book Business @ The Speed of Thought.

Without spoiling too much of the article, Gates predicted many things like having small hand held devices that gave people access to the Internet, private websites used between family and friends to keep in touch and online communities linking people by shared interests rather than location.

It’s crazy to think how in 1999 these were just predictions that people might not have even taken seriously to being actual reality just 16 years later in 2015.

Here’s the article that the Inc article was based on that shows more of Bill Gates’ 1999 predictions.
